Brunei Environmental Youth Envoys ( Brunei EYEs) was first established in 2009 by the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation (Ministry of Development) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education via Centre for Science, Technology and Environment Partnership (STEP Centre)
Aim
•To enable and empower youth advocates of Brunei Darussalam on environmental issues and to increase awareness on environmental protection
•To nurture and build a network of youths to be youth role model and change agents in leading their peers and community towards environmental ownership and sustainability
Mission
•To increase awareness by youth and their communities as to gain potential contribution through voluntary actions (volunteerism)
•To organise and participate in any activities that enhances sustainability in environmental protection
•To ensure youth involvement for a clean society's environment, moving towards Brunei Vision 2035
