General Information

One of the main objectives is to develop a pilot decision support system that will assist end users in identifying the effects of land use proposals by assessing the potential impact (focusing on the four major resource parameters) of such decision on water quality and mangrove viability. The end products will contribute to the potential benefits in terms of:

·         The Inter-Departmental Support

·         The Planning Enhancement

·         The Information Technology Support

·         The Brunei Bay Development

This objective will be achieved by:

·         developing a spatial database and decision support procedure for the selected case study

·         preparing the case study database in such a way as to allow extraction of pertinent information for the development of simulation models.
