Brunei Darussalam's air quality was good yesterday although the country still experienced a hazy condition, according to the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation, Ministry of Development.
In a press release, the department said, "The Pollutant Standard Index (PSI) readings recorded from all
the air quality monitoring stations (PM10) in the four districts yesterday are relatively higher than normal.
"At 6.00pm this afternoon, Friday August 14, 2009 the air quality for Brunei-Muara, Belait, Tutong and Temburong is good where the PSI reading is 23, 17, 33 and 27 respectively.
"PSI reading below 50 is good. PSI between 50 and 100 is moderate," said the press release.
