A cleaning campaign was held yesterday morning at the Kampong Sungai car park, organised by the Kampong Sungai Kebun Consultative Council with cooperation from the villagers of Kg Sungai Kebun, Al-Muhtadee Billah Sungai Kebun Takmir, Sungai Kebun Fire and Rescue Department, Vehicle Maintenance and Assistance Services Unit, Municipal Department of Bandar Seri Begawan. The campaign was headed by the village head of Kampong Sungai Kebun Awang Haji Marali bin Matzin and was participated by approximately 40 individuals.

The campaign aimed to preserve harmony among villagers, strengthen ties and cooperation between consultative members with the youth and residents of Kampong Sungai Kebun.

The recital of Surah Yassin and tahlil were held after the campaign at the Sungai Pengga cemetery, led by Mohd Hasnal bin Hj Mohd Al-Hafiz.
