Several trees in Kampong Lambak Kiri were trimmed to reduce hazards and safety risks to residents.

The trimming and pruning were done by the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation (JASTRE) under the Ministry of Development on Friday. According to residents, these trees were first planted 20 years ago when the Lambak Kiri Housing area was completed.

However, despite beautifying the areas, its roots grew so big that it started to damage the roads, drainage and pipes of its proximity.
