1) Provision of Environmental Consultancy Services

Interested parties seeking environmental consultancy services, including the development of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Environmental Management and Monitoring Plans (EMMP), are advised to obtain the service of any of the Environmental Consultants listed under the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation, which can be found in the directory below.

Please note: This directory is a resource for identifying potential consultants. While the listed consultants, among others, have experience in EIA and EMMP work, it is essential for interested parties to conduct their own due diligence to ensure a consultant's suitability for specific projects. This directory may be updated periodically, and it is not exhaustive of all available consultants in the field.

2) Application to be Included in the Directory of Environmental Consultants Listed under DEPR

Environmental consultants who wish to be included in the directory may submit their application to:

Such application must be submitted with the following documents:

  1. A signed cover letter of the Company stating the intent of your application which includes the following information:
    • Full Name of Company
    • Office Address in Brunei Darussalam
    • Company email address
    • Company office number
    • Details of contact person (Full name, designation, telephone number, email address)
  2. 1 set copy of IC/Passport of the Company Director
  3. 1 set copy of Registry of Companies in Brunei Darussalam (ROC BN) Certificate
  4. 1 set copy of Company Profile
  5. A summary list of the EIA team in tabular form, which includes:
    • Name of member
    • Designation in the company
    • Role in the EIA team
    • No. of working years in related field

    Please attach 1 set copy of each team member's CV.

  6. A summary list of EIA projects undertaken in Brunei Darussalam in tabular form, which includes:
    • Year
    • Name of project
    • Client's name
    • Nature of Prescribed Activities under Schedule 1 of the Environmental Protection and Management Act, Chapter 240
    • Period of Project
    • Scope of Work
    • Estimated Value of Project (in BND)
    • Status of Project (In Progress / Completed)

    Please attach a copy of the cover page and revision page of each project report.

Please note: Applicants are not guaranteed to be included in the Directory and the applications are subject to the sole assessment and discretion of the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation.
